What book (or TV show or movie) have you not read that seemingly everyone else has?
Fifty Shades of Grey. But not for lack of trying! I put the first book on hold through Overdrive to read on my Nook and waited months and months for it to become available for me. I figured I should see for myself what all the fuss was about, even though I knew I wasn't really that into the subject matter. When I finally got it, I read the first few pages and had to put it down. I didn't even get into the plot at all. It was just so terribly written that I couldn't stand reading it. I actually really wanted to go out and buy a paper copy so I could edit it as I read. I'm pretty sure that's the only way I will ever tackle that series.
What book (or TV show or movie) trends have you missed out on? Is it by choice, or have you just not gotten around to it yet? Let me know in the comments!
My neighbors wouldn't stop talking about how wonderful Fifty Shades was so I picked it up. I did manage to read the whole thing, though I really wish I hadn't. Following through GFC.

LOL Fifty Shades was definitely an interesting read. I wasn't sure what all the fuss was about and created a huge rant post about it but at least it got some people into reading. Great post!
